Like so many others on the internet, I've finally gotten myself into Homestuck. I say "gotten myself into", as I feel that Homestuck isn't something you can casually enjoy, but must allow oneself to become completely immersed in as to fully understand all that it is and what's going on.

I'm on the beginning of Act 5, having skipped nothing, and I feel like I've got a pretty good grasp of what's going on (now, anyway). ~HannahSheep says this will change eventually.

As far as cons go, I'm planning to attend NebrasKon in November, which I'm pretty excited about. I've never been but I hear good things about it, so that's promising. I'll probably be bringing my Matryoshka Gumi and I'm planning to make this version of Rose Lalonde.

I got my Kobato wig in the mail before Anime Iowa, but I've had no time to work on her cosplay, let alone the money. She's on hold at the moment unitl I can pull together enough monies to make the version of her that's my favorite.

I got a new job which I start tomorrow (YAY!!!), which comes with pay a increase, so perhaps after the rest of my wedding details get ironed out I can get back to cosplay. I'd still like to go to ACen next year, but I'll just have see if that works out. So far it's iffy...
